BeckerArt FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter March 8th Watercolor Blocks & Pads
Published: Tue, 03/08/22
Hello
Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #355
Last week in my paint-a-long video and in my live class I was telling everyone that this week I would be at the Mississippi Mornings Art Studio doing a demo and teaching a workshop. I had my dates all confused and I guess I couldn't wait to get back to teaching a live workshop at a place I have never been to before. The demonstration happens on the 17th and the workshop starts on the 18th.
If you belong to an art group that is looking for someone to teach a workshop or demonstrate for that group, please give them my information and I will try to make arrangements to come to your group and teach or demonstrate. I also can do them remotely on Zoom. BeckerArt@gmail.com

Watercolor Blocks and Pads
Just recently I had to start using blocks of paper which I normally haven't done because I have always used full sheets. While using block paper I realized I have never talked about blacks and pads of paper, so below I made a quick video on the differences and how to use them.
Paint-a-long Details: the paint-a-long this week will be done on Stonehenge Aqua 300lb Cold Press using Holbein Watercolors. Looking to create a morning light hitting the tops of the mountains
