BeckerArt FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter June 28th Direct Sun

Hello
Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #371
I have actually been working in my studio painting. Since my next workshop isn't until September I finally have some free time to take care of some art business that I have been putting off for some time. One of my biggest projects is to organise my studio and garage and shed... boy I hope that doesn't take 2 months.
I am looking for a good place to order Plein-air frames. They are frames that are wider and if you know of a good place that sells them reasonably, let me know.
These are the kind of frames you need to use if you wax your watercolors and you don't want to use glass.
Yes to Class at the Civic Center in Libertyville June 30th 1pm- 3:30pm

Don't paint with Direct Sunlight on your Painting Surface.
When painting plein air I see a lot of beginner artists working in direct sunlight. Watch the video for a tip on Direct Sunlight on your paper.
This is the umbrella from the video above that I have to replace because it broke as I was setting up the video and a huge wind blew the umbrella and the easel away.
Paint-a-long Details: This week's painting was chosen because we need to learn about negative painting. I will be using 300lb Stonehenge Aqua Cold Press with my Holbein paints as always.
