This week's newsletter shows a video of me painting with Gouache on White and on Black Stonehenge Aqua Paper. It was a demo I did for the Opus Art Store in Vancouver, Canada.

Gouache used like watercolor Demo on Black and White Paper
When painting plein air I see a lot of beginner artists working in direct sunlight. Watch the video for a tip on Direct Sunlight on your paper.
Paint-a-long Details: This week's painting will be of a macaw bird and I will probably use some stencil in the background. I will be using 300lb Stonehenge Aqua Cold Press with my Holbein paints as always.
