Hello
Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #373
This last weekend I did a Plein-air bike ride and came up with a sketch for studying how to use green better in your work. I am hoping to pass along what I have learned about which greens to use in nature. Here is a video of me painting that scene on YouTube
Would you like to ask questions about your painting or show off your paint-a-long from Thursday nights? If so please post them on my BeckerArt Facebook Group.

Making Green Work
If you have been to my classes in the past you probably heard me talk about how much I don't like using the color green in my work. Now that I am going out a lot and doing plein-air painting I have come to realize that I better start looking into how to use the correct greens in my plein-air work since there is so much of
that color out there in the summer months here in the midwest.
Below is a video where I explain greens and how I will use them in my work.
Paint-a-long Details: This week's painting will make us aware of how we are using green in our work. The dark pinetree in the background center will be turned very light and I am probably also going to add people walking down the street/path.
