Using Black and White Watercolor Pigment

This week I want to talk about the use of Black and White pigment in watercolor. Many teachers have taught me not to ever use white or black from a tube in transparent watercolor. My teachers taught me to mix my black by using dark colors but I never really got the hang of getting a really dark black.

This week I am teaching you to use black and white... watch the video and I explain why I use black and white in my watercolors.
