Thank you so much to all of you that sent me emails about my last week's newsletter and about how much you love my paint-a-longs and so many other wonderful things you all mentioned. I received so many wonderful emails and I have been so busy that I haven't had the chance to reply to all of them yet, but I will get to all of them when I get the chance. It was so nice to hear what so many of you think about my teachings and they were so heartwarming to read. Thank you!

This coming Thursday I will have a live workshop at the Plymouth Art Center in WI and after class on Thursday, I will be doing the live YouTube paint-a-long at the Art Center. If you are around the area at 6:30 cst stop by to see the paint-a-long live.

This week's paint-a-long will be done on an absorbent gesso ground surface. I will explain in the live video what I will be using and how I prepared this surface.

New Tool for making lines in Watercolor

Back when I was teaching in Bagley, MN one of the students, and I am sorry that I forgot which student it was exactly, so I could give them credit, but she told the class about a great line tool that I instantly ordered and now believe it is the best way to paint a line in watercolor. Watch the video below to see me use this new line tool.
