I was thinking this weekend, what is the hardest lesson that I have taught that most everyone has a problem with, myself included... well that is what this weeks newsletter is all about. Watch the video lesson below to find out what it is that gives all us watercolorist the biggest problem.

Dark Washes

I have a saying that goes... if your wash looks right while it is wet it is wrong. A wash can look very dark while wet but when the water dries up it is the amount of pigment left that determines how dark or light it ends up being.
Watch video below to see what it takes to create a dark wash and get it to not lighten when it dries.
