Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #442

Last week I had the pleasure of doing a live demonstration for the Lemont Artists Guild and it was great to see so many of the artists there live but who also follow me on my YouTube channel. Everywhere I go I hear many say they love that I do the Thursday Paint-a-longs. I am very happy to do the Thursday paint-a-longs because so many of you give it such great reviews... a huge thank you to all of you that watch and are subscribers to my YouTube Channel!

This Coming Sunday, November 19th noon to 3pm at the Libertyville Civic Center a bunch of artists and I will be at the SHOW-IN pop-up Gallery showing work that you will be able to purchase at great prices because everything has to be under $300. Drop by to watch me and many of the artists demonstrate our painting techniques.

Fixing a Failed Wash

How many times have you heard from people that watercolor is the hardest because you can't fix your painting washes... I say yes you can fix your paintings and washes and it really isn't as hard as people make it out to be.

In the video above I show you how to tickle instead of scrubbing to fix your painting, but sometimes if you are looking to scrub out a small area on a painting these brushes woirk very well for that.
