• How many paintings do you have sitting in your studio?
• How many paintings in each collection or body of work?
• How many are framed or unframed?
• Do you know the sizes to all of your paintings?
• What are the prices for each painting?
• Can you show me all of your art and let
me know what is for sale and for how much?
• Do you have any pieces hanging in a gallery I can look at?
• Is any of your work in a juried exhibition that I can see?
Can you answer any of these questions without going to look in your studio or at the actual piece of art?
If you are like me, I couldn't answer any of these questions because I am an unorganized artist.
That was
until 2 days ago, this weekend I read business consultant Laura C George's blog. She sent me to the website named Artwork Archive.com. I signed up instantly because I knew deep down this is something I needed to do if I want to continue down the path of becoming a professional fine artist.
What is Artwork Archive.com? Here is what is written on their facebook page....
"Artwork Archive is the premier web-based platform for experienced
and emerging artists to track their artwork, sales, contacts, gallery showings and more. We give you the tools to intelligently manage and market your art career."
