Hello

Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #67, Organized Artist

I would like to tell you a story of something that happened to me in the last three weeks.  I am hoping that you and anybody that you share this with can benefit from my experience. Find the story below.

Is there anybody that is still thinking about taking my Greek Island workshop but can't find a roommate?
I have someone that would like to take the workshop but needs a roommate. She won't be able to take the workshop if she can't find a roommate. Please contact me or Dillman's if interested in the workshop and need a roommate.

Let's get organized!

Three weeks ago I was heading to Canada and Vermont when I find out that my credit card and Amazon account were hacked into. At the same time, I also get an email from an art broker that has a client that is interested in 3 of my paintings. While in the northern woods of Canada without any phone service and very limited wifi service I had to deal with the credit card and Amazon situation along with the art broker.

Lucky for me last spring I started getting my artistic life organized by signing up for ArtworkArchive.com. I still need to update and finish setting everything up but I am so glad that I started organizing my recent works of art. I emailed the art broker this link  which wasn't all finished yet but was good enough to show what I had available to his client. The sizes weren't all correct so that will be something I have to work on changing.
As for the credit card situation, I canceled the card and took care of all the bills that the card is linked to when I arrived home.

The broker sold 3 of my works and I credit it all to my page at ArtworkArchive.com
My website is good for showing my work but not as good for selling it. On Artwork Archive the broker can see the work, the sizes, if it is available for sale, if it has won awards or if it is still in a show. You can also show the retail and wholesale price to the broker.
Here is what the website tells us what the artist and collector can do with the site :
If you don't have a website but need to be on the web I would recommend ArtworkArchive.com
Websites are great for showing off your work but a site like Artwork Archive is better for organizing your artistic career.
If you sign up through this link you can get 20% discount
