BeckerArt FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter Oct. 18th, Google Photos

Published: Tue, 10/18/16

Hello

Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #76, Google Photos

I'm back from Greece and after 2 weeks away from the computer I can again get back to getting my newsletter out to all of you. The wifi on the ship didn't work so well so we were pretty much getting our wifi from shops we found while going ashore and that was usually for only a few minutes. Last week I couldn't get out a newsletter but hopefully, I can make up for that newsletter this week.

The final count of photos I took while on this trip to the Greek Islands were exactly 1997, I was 3 photos short of 2000, but who is counting. I now have to go through all those photos and organize them all. I will be using Google Photos to organize everything. I will talk about this app and show a video I found for this week's newsletter.

If you like the photos and paintings from this workshop and would like to experience a workshop like this, sign up for next years workshop on the Danube, GO HERE For INFO
Act fast because I know there are only a few cabins left on this cruise.

GOOGLE PHOTOS

The trip or workshop is over and now you have to go through all the photos you took. You may be wondering what program or app out there is the best to use for this. Let me tell you that after looking through many different programs and apps I have decided to use Google Photos.

If you have an android phone or an iPhone, they both can use Google Photos.

First off, if you have a Gmail account and you have the google apps package on your phone you probably already have Google Photos on your phone without knowing it like I had found out in recent months.
You may already know that you have Google photos but don't realize how many things it can do for you.
If you don't have Google photos on your phone and you would like to use Google Photos read one of these 2 links below depending on your phone. Even if you already have this app on your phone you may want to read through this short tutorial just to get a few tips on this app.

As I was writing up all that Google Photos does and searching the web for new things it can do with this app,
I ran across this video on YouTube that explains everything I was writing about that Google Photos does.
I stopped writing about this app and what it does because this video covers it all....thanks, Super Geeks!

I highly recommend this app because you can store all your photos on the cloud and it doesn't cost you anything. It also doesn't use any storage space on your phone, and if something ever happens to your phone, heaven forbid, your photos are never lost. Watch the video and I think you too will be sold on this app.

Facebook is also a great place for your photos for people to see.

For all artists that want to organize their painting photos, I recommend Artwork Archive.com here you can organize your paintings and artistic career.
