I have always loved painting snow in watercolor because it was the one time I knew I could leave a lot of white paper showing and it would look great. Today's newsletter will cover how to paint snow-covered pine trees.

I have noticed that during the holidays, many galleries are selling smaller works. This is a great idea for both the consumer and the artist, as lower-cost original paintings are flying off the walls because they are more affordable for gift-giving.
