The last couple of days I was busy with plein-air painting that I did not see any news, that was until yesterday evening and I saw what has happened in North Carolina... Montreat, Ashville, Boone... all places I have visited and recently too. I pray that all my friends in these areas are okay along with all that live there. I also hope that the company Cheap
Joe and all the folks there are okay. Cheap Joe has always helped many artists when they were in need... If Cheap Joe needs our help I hope they reach out to us artists so we can pay-it-forward to them as they have done to so many needy artists. I am sorry that last week's Paint-a-long was canceled. I was ready with everything but my laptop and the wifi at Dillman's was not going to let me do a paint-a-long... everything kept on crashing and I had no idea why it just kept shutting down my broadcasting app. I will not have a paint-a-long this week due to being in a plein-air competition
all week. I will keep up the photo from last week since I figure nobody, including myself painted it yet.

Simple Business Cards
With so much technology surrounding us these days I still find the best way to deal with people asking about your work or those that see you painting pleinair asking you questions, I like to
just hand them a business card. I know you can also pull up a QR code on your phone and then have them photograph it, but is still simple to just hand them a business card and it can also have a QR code on it, that will lead people to your website or anywhere you want them to find you and your work.
I search the web for the best deals on business cards and I know some artists just print up simple cards on their printer. either way I do believe it is a
great way to get your name and work in front of people that hopefully will be clients in the future. Simple and easy!
