I'm Back home after many week's away and I brought back an award of the Grand Prize for the Bluffstrokes Paintout. I still
can't believe I won top prize. I felt so honored to have won the award because of how much great work was shown at this exhibition. The award winning painting is shown above. Here is my Favorite piece I did for the exhibition.

Changing Scenes for Better Design
Last week at the main event of Bluffstrokes I saw a painting in the exhibition that an artist had painted... I knew the exact location and I was going to paint that same scene at one point but I didn't see it the
same way this artist saw it. When I saw what he painted I realized that I try too hard to match the scene exactly to what I see and after seeing what this artist had changed to make his painting amazing it dawned on me that I needed to start using my skills to make the painting whatever I want it to be as long as it makes the painting look great.
