Hello
Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #509
This week we are practicing on a paint-a-long that after you are finished, I can almost guarantee that you will be able to
sell it. From all the years of teaching I have always found that when you paint a cute pig, students always tell me they sold it and many times they even have to paint more piglets because people ask if they could paint another. Piglets sell!
I'm sorry that many of you that wanted to get into my Plaza Art Store Zoom class couldn't because the 95 spots sold out in 2 days. I will have to see
if maybe I can run one myself in the future.

Holbein Granulating Watercolors
This week I go over the 24 new granulating watercolor pigments that Holbein has just recently brought to the art market.
These colors are granulating colors where Holbein combines 2 and 3 different colors clumped together and then they separate in super neat ways on your watercolor paper.
Check out the video to see the amazing colors available and how they look on paper.
I talked with Dean once at a TWSA Dinner and I found out that he liked working on the same paper that I loved working on. That paper is Bristol Board or Hot Press. His work is so
amazing.
