Hello
Welcome to the FLOAT-YOUR-PIGMENT Newsletter #536
It is great to be back in my studio after being away for so long. I picked up some great advice and lessons when I was away and it will be great to teach
you all that I picked up.
This whole year was filled with so much travel for me, and in the recent months I didn't have time to put together lessons or think about teaching. Now that everything is over and I am back, I'm ready to start teaching my lessons on YouTube and also will try to get back to that book I have been working on now for at least 4 years. The book is about teaching you how to sketch from your memory.
I need your help... I am trying to build the perfect palette, which I will show you how to build once I get it all built and tested. I need help in finding a small plastic pan that is 1"x 2" or close to that size. This plastic pan looks like the photo below but the pan has to be a lot bigger than what is shown below. I have searched far and wide, and even have looked into things that this pan could be a part of. I haven't had any luck yet but I think if I ask all of
you, maybe someone can find this small 1"x 2" plastic pan or something like it. I already have the thin metal tin pans but they rust after a while. Email me at BeckerArt@gmail.com Thanks!

Check out how I chose this weeks Paint-a-long Photo
When I was away on all the Plein-air events I took a ton of photos that I used at the events but I also took many photos to use for
paintings when I am back in the studio.
In the video below I go into how I chose this weeks paint-a-long.
Artist of the Week
Jason Li Was the Winner of the grand prize at Laguna Beach. There were only 3 watercolorists, Jason, Geoff, and I. It was so great to see a watercolor win the grand prize. Painting that won pictured
above.
